If you have ever seen me for a color match consultation, you might have noticed that I use lots of Seint products. Seint makes incredible makeup and makes some of my favorite brushes of all time, which I’ll be sharing with you today. As a makeup artist, I need to have the best tools on me at all times, which has forced me to narrow down my collection to focus on the absolute best of the best.
Here, we’ll talk about which makeup brushes you actually need and cover why I love Seint’s cruelty-free products so very much. Without further ado, let’s dive in:
Face Brushes
Face brushes do the heavy lifting of making your complexion look radiant, and are the first type of brush you should consider investing good money in. While all makeup can be done with your hands, face brushes make an enormous difference for getting a good blend and seamless finish. To lay down color correcting products, you’ll want a flat, slightly dense brush capable of doing detailed work.
One side of Seint’s dual-ended Detail Brush features a small flat brush, perfect for laying down pigment under the eyes, around the nose, or on areas of hyperpigmentation. The other end of the detail brush has a round, flat-headed brush which works beautifully for blending pigments and finishing your complexion. If you like to use foundation, the Detail Brush can help you achieve a smooth finish. If you like to contour in addition to bronzing, the Detail Brush can also be used as a contour brush to apply cream or powder products.
Seint makes blush and bronzer super easy with their Blush + Bronzer Brush. Each side of this brush features a dome-shaped fluffy brush, perfect for adding a wash of color across the cheeks and under the cheekbones. The larger of the two brushes is also great for applying finishing powder or brushing off excess setting powder.
Once you’re ready to apply highlight, reach for Seint’s Blend Brush. The fluffy end of this brush is perfect for adding shine to your finished look. Use a light hand for a more natural glow, or add a few layers for a more high-glam vibe.
Eye Brushes
The more densely packed and shorter side of the Blend Brush is an excellent eyeshadow brush, and can be used to apply a light base or transition shades, or as a packing brush for darker more pigmented shades. To add detail to your eye looks, and to get into your inner corners and lower lashline, the Eyeshadow Brush will become your best friend. One end features a small smudge brush and the other a fluffy blending brush to buff out edges.
To apply liquid, gel, or powder eyeliner, you’ll need the Line Brush. This tiny angled brush creates sharp lines, and the synthetic bristles hold the product without any dripping. The Line Brush is also excellent for doing your eyebrows since it is thin enough to mimic the look of fine hairs. The other end of the Line Brush features a spoolie to help you blend your brows and achieve a more natural look.

Bonus: Lips
While you can absolutely get by with the five brushes listed above, there’s nothing wrong with expanding your collection a little.
